As amazing as it may sound, we have the technology to drive our existing cars on water. I first heard of this some 4 to 6 years ago while watching a Discovery channel documentary on cars and the future of cars. I learned many interesting facts about the future of cars…cars that drive themselves, cars that will be able to mend themselves when dented or even change color on command, but by far the one thing I learned that day, that really stuck with me was the fact that there was a man in our own country who had learned to burn water for fuel.
Jimmy Klein was the real deal. I watched engrossed as this man took what looked like an ordinary blow torch and cut or burned several objects of varying size and materials, with far less effort than a traditional acetylene torch would entail. It was like he had trapped the sun at the tip of his torch and even more amazing was that the torch remained cool to the touch even while burning through a think slab of metal or iron. It wasn’t long after he made this amazing discovery that he applied the same principle to his car.
Not too soon after learning of Mr. Klein, I found Stanley Meyer. Apparently, Mr. Meyers had been developing a water powered car sometime during the 80’s and into the 90’s. He had a dune buggy running on pure tap water. I say had because it seems Mr. Meyers was murdered sometime in 1998. Hate to be one to perpetuate conspiracy theory but after seeing video interviews of him claiming to have had his life threatened numerous times by Arab oil people, it’s hard not to wonder a bit. It wouldn’t take a genius to see how, if every car in America suddenly knocked their oil dependency down to say, monthly oil changes & other oil or petroleum based products like plastics and Vaseline, it would turn the foreign oil market on it’s ear.
“With the U.S. not buying foreign oil it will devalue the dollar in the world market…We’ll Be A Third World Country!!”
These people are not thinking about just how much spendable income the average American would suddenly have. With oil dependency a thing of the past, everything will come down in price. No more high prices because of trucking and shipping fuel costs. Trucks that run on tap water could potentially reduce the cost of distributing goods across the nation to near record lows. This means Americans will suddenly find themselves with more money in their pockets to spend on goods and services. Look at how the government is gushing over themselves for giving Americans an average of $600 each as an economy “stimulus” package. Imagine what the economy would be like if suddenly nearly 300 million Americans had $40, $50 or more per week extra to spend on the things they wanted? And thats just gas money, what about furnaces that burn water instead of oil, gas, propane, etc.? Lend this technology to the home heating world and now Americans will have the kind of money they need to be the target of goods and services the world over.
I know in my own life, my home runs it’s heat and hot water off of two 100 gallon propane tanks. It runs me an average of almost $4.00/gal. for propane so about once a month I am facing an almost $800 heating bill. We run the heat in my house usually from mid October to mid April on average, so lets say about 6 months or $4800 for the winter season. With water as a fuel source, I would potentially have close to $5000 extra for me and my family. Think about all the things in your life you WISH you could have for yourself…your family and friends. Would the world economy, ours included, go through an adjustment period? Sure. It would be strange if it didn’t, but would it really be a bad thing? With so much extra spendable cash at hand, Americans would still be the target of producers of goods and services the world over. The sheer level of demand this extra money, burning a hole in the pockets of Americans everywhere, would create, I think, would pretty much ensure the dollar retains more than it’s fair share of world market value.
The point of this little tirade is to open your collective eyes to something that should be shouted from every roof top in the country until they hear us all the way in the Middle East and beyond. We have the technology to live better and cleaner. the man who invented a working model for us to see has been dead for 10 years now. Others like Jimmy Klein have gone on the develop and build other real world working models of cars that burn water as a fuel. Why are we still driving on oil? Why are we debating hybrids, fuel cells and all the other ideas we have been fed over the last 5 to 10 years….like using corn or sugar, when we have a viable, working solution ready and waiting?
There are no infrastructure worries, after all most homes in America have running water or access to it. Water certainly does not present the safety hazard volitile substances like gasoline do and it literary falls out of the sky for free. No my friends, there is only one thing that is keeping us from this technology and that thing is us. It is us, the people, who complain about it all but then do nothing. The information about these men, their achievements and discoveries are and have been freely available to us all, more than 10 years in the case of Stan Meyers. Yet we still chug along in our little pollution machines, happily oblivious as long as the AC works and the traffic is light.
If the discoveries and achievements of these men were a funny internet picture or joke, it would be old news by now…someday our children’s children would be able to laugh and wonder what it was like to have to wait at a gas pump for fuel. Instead, some day our children’s children will wonder why we had the answer in the palms of our hands and choose to ignore or even try to use it.
